FALL 2009 REFUND POLICY

AN ORIGINAL, DATED RECEIPT IS REQUIRED FOR ALL RETURNS

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Course Books

 

• Current student I.D. or Driver’s License (current picture ID)  

  and student ID number is REQUIRED for all returns.

• It is the responsibility of the student to purchase the

  correct book for their classes. Staff is not responsible for

  books purchased in error.

• Books purchased NEW must be returned in the same

  condition that the book was originally purchased in.

  Additionally, the book must be free from writing, marks,

  bent corners and completely intact. If not, the USED

  purchase price will be refunded.

• Books with a "NO RETURN IF UNWRAPPED" sticker

  may not be returned if the book is unwrapped.

• Books purchased in shrink-wrap, that may be opened, must 

  be returned with all components accompanying the textbook

  (example: CD, study guides, etc.). CD envelopes must be

  unopened and any access codes must be unused and/or not

  scratched off.

• Under any circumstances, when a used book is returned for

  a new book, the price difference must be paid.

• Special orders are not refundable

• Books and merchandise must be returned to the main

  campus bookstore regardless of purchase location.

• One day classes - NO REFUNDS AFTER CLASS STARTS

• No refunds during the last four weeks of school.

 

General Merchandise

 

• Merchandise with a manufacturer’s defect will be replaced.

• Supplies not in original packaging, in opened packaging or not 

  in new condition may not be refunded.

Sale merchandise is NOT refundable.

 

Software

 

• Software must be in original unopened packaging.

• The CD and/or box cannot be opened, unwrapped, and/or

  used.

• If software CD is defective, it can be exchanged for a  

  replacement as long as all of the original contents, packaging

  and the damaged CD has been returned.

 

Merchandise may be refunded within 5 business days from the date of purchase.

LAST DAY FOR A FULL TEXTBOOK REFUND FOR THE FALL 2009 SEMESTER IS WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 9, 2009.

All purchases made after that time will not be refundable except late starting classes. Refunds for late

starting classes will be accepted within 5 business days from start of class. (Proof of enrollment is required)

 

Charge card purchase will only be credited back to the charge card that items were originally purchased on.

If paid by check, check must clear the Depository Bank before refund will be given.

 

Refund and Buyback Hours

Monday – Thursday: 7:45 AM to 7:45 PM and Friday 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM

Location:  Buyback and Refund Counter just inside the bookstore entrance on the left.
