Although the bookstore will purchase books throughout the entire year, it is to your advantage to wait until FINALS WEEK of each semester to sell back your books. It is at this time of year our inventories are depleted and we are receiving faculty orders for the next term.

Cash register receipts are not needed for normal buyback transactions.  Your student I.D. number is required, however.

During end of semester final exams, the bookstore offers UP TO 50% of the NEW BOOK price for hardback and paperbound texts in good resale condition IF they are needed at A.R.C. the following semester.

MARKET VALUE will be offered for most current textbooks which are NOT needed at A.R.C. any longer. The market value is generally 20 - 30% of suggested list price.

Remember...If your text was purchased with a cd-rom, etc., return it also. Worktexts and study guides must be clean, complete and free from writing.
Books must have both the front and back covers intact.

...The bookstore cannot guarantee the buyback of any book at any time.

Buyback Location:
Bring your textbooks to the bookstore's buyback and refund counter located near the store entrance. Please have picture identification available.
